TELLER COUNTY WATER & SANITATION DISTRICT #1
NOTICE OF BUDGET HEARING

Notice is hereby given that the proposed budget has been submitted to Teller County Water & Sanitation District #1 (“TCWSD#1”) for the ensuing year of 2021. That a copy of such proposed budget has been filed in the office of TCWSD#1, at the treatment plant (201 Piute Trail, Woodland Park, Colorado) where the same is open for public inspection. It is also posted on the website www.tellerwater1.com.

This budget will be finalized and adopted at a public Budget Hearing (during the regular TCWSD#1 Board meeting) on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at 5:00 PM at the office of Lisa M Rector CPA PC, 212 S. Chestnut St, Woodland Park, Colorado. Any interested customer of such TCWSD#1 may inspect the proposed budget and file or register any comments or objections thereto at any time prior to the final adoption of the budget.

Time again for the annual letter regarding District finances for next year – 2021.

Rate Increase

To maintain the financial health of the District, the Board is anticipating a sewer increase of $1.00. The basic water fee and water use fee will remain the same.

This rate increase will go into effect on your February 1^st bill next year (2021):

Water Use Fee           $12/1,000 gallons                 same

The District Budget for 2021

The 2021 budget will be presented and approved at the next Board meeting on Wednesday, 11/11, at 5:00 PM, at the office of Lisa M Rector CPA, 212 S. Chestnut St.

The December meeting will include our “Budget Hearing” – a meeting required each year by the State of Colorado. This meeting will be held on Wednesday, 12/9, at 5:00 PM at the same location.
